Severn Trent Water has a simple and compelling vision. We aim to be the best water and waste services company in the UK. It's a huge challenge that requires us to deliver the highest possible service standards for our customers while also offering the lowest prices. Building on solid performance improvements in 2008/09, we’ve recently produced our final business plan for 2010-15, which was submitted to Ofwat in April 2009. This overview clearly sets out how we will deliver the highest standards for a price that our customers consider good value. Among other things, we plan to invest £2.6 billion to reinforce our water supply network, reduce sewer flooding and improve our local water environment, all while keeping our charges some of the lowest in the industry. 

We’re also significantly investing in our people. Drawing on results from a series of pilots, we are producing a new operating model for the way we work together and develop our staff.
