Severn Trent Water is the world's fourth largest privately-owned water company. We serve over eight million customers across the heart of the UK - with an operation that stretches from the Bristol Channel to the Humber and from mid-Wales to the East Midlands.

Every day, we supply our customers with around two billion litres of drinking water. That’s enough to fill more than 1,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools. At the same time, we treat around 2.7 billion litres of wastewater per day, from communities and businesses right across our region.

It won’t surprise you to learn, then, that we’re a large organisation. We employ over 5,500 people from a wide range of backgrounds. Scientists, maintenance workers, contact centre staff, administrators and engineers – all play a part in making our operation run smoothly 365 days a year.
